The seaside identity of the investment is emphasised through an artistic concept based on recycled materials, enriched with amber and an archaeological discovery, giving the space a unique atmosphere.
Historic ferry
The interior of the building will soon be enriched by a unique witness to the past – the wreck of a 17th-century river vessel, which was discovered during work on the site.
Researchers believe that the vessel was used to transport bricks obtained from the demolition of the last buildings of the Teutonic castle, which were dismantled at the beginning of the 17th century. Soon, fragments of the vessel will be displayed at the entrance to the building, becoming a unique element of the interior design.
Sunken amber
In the common areas of Stępkarska 6A, we have designed unique furniture panels by local artist Monika Błaszkowska from the Migaloo Home studio. They were made, among other things, from ground-up bottoms of paint cans used in the construction of the building.
The result? An original design and a real nod to a sustainable approach to design. The artist also embedded fragments of amber in the structure of the panels, which add character and subtly refer to the seaside atmosphere.
