Information on the processing of data collected through the use of CCTV
in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR):
1. Data Administrator
The Administrator of the personal data of persons present on the premises and within the facilities covered by CCTV surveillance is one of the companies of the Vantage Development Group, as indicated on the information board at the location of the CCTV camera. 3. Purposes and legal basis for processing
Personal data in the form of images of individuals and vehicle registration numbers, recorded by CCTV cameras, will be processed by the Administrator for the purposes of pursuing legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) relating to the need to ensure the protection of property and the safety of individuals within the area covered by the surveillance system and owned by the Administrator.
4. Recipients of personal data
The Administrator may transfer personal data to Vantage Development S.A., with its registered office at: ul. Jaworska 11 (CU Office, Building B), 53-612 Wrocław, and to entities cooperating on the basis of data processing agreements, including property security service providers, law firms, IT service providers, technical equipment suppliers, as well as public authorities authorised to receive such data under the relevant legal provisions.
5. Data retention period
Personal data in the form of images will be stored for no longer than 30 days from the date of recording, unless the video recordings containing personal data constitute evidence in proceedings conducted under the law or the Administrator has been informed that they may constitute evidence in such proceedings. In such cases, the storage period specified above is extended until the final conclusion of such proceedings.
6. Rights of data subjects
Every person whose data is processed in connection with the use of CCTV surveillance has the following rights:
• the right to access their data and receive a copy thereof;
• the right to restrict the processing of personal data;
• the right to object to the processing of data;
• the right to erasure of personal data;
• the right to be forgotten;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (at the following address: Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa).
7. Information on the requirement to provide data
The provision of personal data is voluntary; however, it is necessary in order to use the infrastructure located on the Administrator’s premises, to move around the area covered by CCTV, to use the rental premises and the underground car park. Only video footage (without audio) is recorded and stored.
8. Premises and area covered by surveillance
Video surveillance covers buildings with premises intended for rent, together with the immediate surroundings, in particular: the area directly adjacent to the buildings owned by the Administrator, entrances to stairwells, entrance gates to the underground car park, the playground area and other infrastructure located on the property. Surveillance does not cover or record images from publicly accessible areas outside the premises owned by the Administrator.
